At Veritas Christian Academy, education is truly a personal relationship between the teacher and the student that leads the student towards what is true, good, and beautiful in the paideia of the Lord. Classical Christian education is more than a teaching method; it’s a transformative philosophy and mindset rooted in a Christian worldview, seeking to impart Christian culture by nurturing wisdom and virtue through the liberal arts*.
We understand each student has a different “frame” (Psalm 103:14) and we strive to discover and cultivate the unique abilities and callings each child has been given by God. We teach biblical virtues in all that we do and focus on teaching children how to think, not simply what to think. We equip them to navigate and engage with the complexities of God’s world while fostering a lifelong love of learning. We emphasize holistic character development alongside academic excellence† guiding our students toward a biblical “good” life—one marked by peace, contentment, and joy found in the Lord.
Through the classical tools of the trivium‡ and quadrivium§, we aim to develop mastery in all fields of study—moving from knowledge of the concrete to understanding the relationship between points of knowledge, culminating in wisdom (knowledge and understanding in action). We equip our students for a rich, meaningful life in Christ.
