She seeks to embody and practice what we see in Psalm 78:4-6, “We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the Lord, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.”

Ms. Anna grew up in the Denver area and has lived in Alamosa for the past five years with her husband, Luke, son, Samuel, and
daughter, Noelle. She studied at Colorado Christian University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in music with an emphasis in bass and biblical studies, while also electing to study flute, pedagogy, and composition.
Upon graduating she worked for years developing music education content at MakeMusic, Inc., the creator of Finale, where she has many published pieces. Ms. Anna has also had the privilege of professionally
performing and recording with a large number of Denver-area jazz
bands, orchestras, and small ensembles. Since moving to the valley, she has been actively teaching private lessons and performing with her husband, while also enjoying singing and playing a variety of instruments on the worship team at her church. Hailing from a family of teachers, she herself began teaching in 2017 and has adored watching her students flourish as they develop a passion for musical expression, technical excellence, and above all, a joy for using music as a vessel to worship our great God. She is thrilled to get to pour into her students at VCA and prays that they come away with all of the
tools and passion they need to pursue a lifelong relationship with music.

In July of 2021 an informational meeting was held at Living Water Bible Fellowship in Alamosa, CO to see if there was any interest about starting a Christian school in Alamosa. About 40 people attended that meeting expressing their desire to be directly involved in or support the school in some way. From those 40 people a core team was established for those who wanted to take the next step and really be involved in the planning of the school. This handful of core people committed to working on the initial steps of the school became the founding board of VCA.
From August 2021 to August 2023 the founding board prayed, researched, debated, discussed, and strategized the type of school VCA would become. Mission and vision statements were drafted, education models were researched and considered, documents were written and re-written, and meeting upon meeting was held to take the desire for a Christian school and make it a tangible reality. We are grateful that the Lord saw fit to bless the work of our hands, and use it for His glory!
